Thousands have gathered at Ondo Valley Park, host area for WV Valley, where most of the events over the next week will take place, ahead of the WorldVision 122 opening ceremony.
Participants, perfromers and the delegations are preparing to go out of the Pixel Carpet, the WorldVision 122 version of the famous red carpet. They will take interviews, show off their outfits, pose for the camera, and mingle with the other participants, in a tarpoulin behind the WV Valley stage.
The opening ceremony is set to be 2 hours long, from 13:00 to 15:00 (UTC-10) and the first hour will be introducing the acts and such, followed by performances from local bands from the Andechimp and outer regions. And finishing off in Saint Monkeyian style, a firework display, yes, during the day. Saint Monkey sure does love their fireworks displays.
Followed by that, the real events start. There is an amusement park, an autograph booth, a food market, merch shop and even, in Saint Monkeyian style, a swimming pool, limited to 50 people a time. And the highlight of course, the WV Valley stage, which will see 17 mini concerts throughout the week. Kicking it off is Këhaja, Hafamarimët's WorldVision 121 participant, at 19:00 - 19:45 and finishing it off Sopranos of Sulawesi (SopSula) from Riandera, on the 1st September from 21:30 - 22:30.
It is going to be a very hectic week in Orangamonk, but a very exciting one for everyone there - it really is the place to be.
