Yerevan of Malta Comino Gozo win WorldVision 121

By Jonathan Laos

Another wonderful WorldVision has come to a close. Many bets were made as to who will win, who will flop and who will cause a shock. Eventually, after a tight televote reveal, it was Malta Comino Gozo's Yerevan who came out on top, with 243 points.

They came just 3 points above hosts Kalosia, who put on a fantastic contest in Cafalon, in collaboration with Carrelie's broadcaster IGT.

Yerevan's Space Hopper, a energetic, and perhaps a bit crazy at some points, the WorldVision norm of course, was popular amongst both juries and the public, taking Malta Comino Gozo's second WorldVision win in a row. Rugenia managed to win over the public the most, with Mila Novak's meaningful song, "What for?"

Ekoz returned to the contest after 40 editions and managed to grab 5th place with Marlo Folsgord's "Inhibitions," behind Waisnor's AliAli. StrayaRoos, Achaean Republic, Marissolia, Saint Moneky and Hafamarimët rounded out the top 10.

It was another banger of a contest, full of crazy energetic performances, beautiful ballads and everything in between. In the next few days, host bid's for the next edition are set to be released by the respective broadcasters, for the next edition, to be hosted early September 2025.
